Colombia's Radamel Falcao feels he is improving as a player at Atletico Madrid

The attacker joined the Vicente Calderon outfit in the summer after a record setting, treble-winning campaign with Porto, and feels he is getting better by playing in Spain.

Radamel Falcao has stated that he feels he has improved as a player since moving to Atletico Madrid, and is enjoying playing as a lone striker for the Spanish side.

The Colombia international switched to Gregorio Manzano's team from Porto in the summer, and has spoken of his happiness at the Vicente Calderon.

"I am learning along with my team-mates at Atletico and we are making an outline that I use and it works well, so I'm very happy," Falcao told EFE.

The capital city side have been playing the South American up front by himself, with Diego playing off him, and the 25 year-old is prospering in this formation.

"Obviously you have to be very mobile in order to find space and to receive the ball unmarked, but I'm [getting] used to it," he concluded.

Falcao is currently on international duty with Colombia, as Leonel Alvarez's men take on Bolivia in the World Cup qualifiers on Tuesday night.
