Colombian stocks rose Wednesday as shares of oil firm Pacific Rubiales (PRE.T) recovered slightly after hitting an eight-month low a day earlier.
The IGBC index, considered the market's benchmark, rose 0.23% to close at 14180.03 points.
Shares of Pacific Rubiales closed 1.13% higher Wednesday at COP48,160.

Colombia's peso closed virtually unchanged Wednesday, ending at COP1,831.71 for $1, from 1,831.90 late Tuesday.
The peso is at its weakest level since April 5.
