The IGBC Index (IGBC) gained 0.7 percent to 14,393.48, while the Colcap Index (COLCAP) increased 0.5 percent to 1,715.45.
Financial industry companies fell as Colombia put in place additional reserve requirements on consumer credit.

Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA (AVAL CB), Colombia’s biggest banking group by assets, dropped 0.8 percent to 1,230 pesos.
Interconexion Electrica SA (ISA) , an energy and road company, climbed 3.2 percent to 11,600 pesos.
Transportation Minister German Cardona said the Prosperity Highway “will get done” and counts on President Juan Manuel Santos’s support, according to an e-mailed statement dated yesterday.
The project is awaiting a decision by a state agency, the statement said.
