Two Brazilian air force helicopters have arrived in Colombia to lift to freedom the last 10 soldiers and police held by Colombia's main rebel group.
The former Colombian senator brokering the release, Piedad Cordoba, says she expects to obtain the coordinates from the leftist Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia on Monday morning.
The Red Cross-emblazoned Super Cougars would then depart for a jungle rendezvous.
It remains unclear whether FARC rebels will free all 10 captives at once or in several stages. Some have been held for as long as 14 years.
The rebels have proposed peace talks, and recently announced they had halted revenue kidnappings as a revenue source.
