The IGBC Index (IGBC) gained 0.9 percent to 15,154.97. A 20 percent increase so far this year would be the biggest quarterly advance since the three months through June 2.009.
The Colcap Index gained 0.8 percent to 1,751.47.
Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. (PREC) , the Toronto-based oil producer that operates fields in Colombia, rose 1.4 percent to 52,340 pesos. Pacific Rubiales will invest as much as $140 million in Pacific Infrastructure Inc., a company developing an oil port and pipeline, the company said in a statement.
Canacol Energy Ltd. (CNEC) , the Calgary-based oil company that operates fields in Colombia, fell 1.5 percent to 1,620 pesos.
Oil declined to the lowest level in six weeks in New York.
