Banco Davivienda SA (PFDAVVND) , Colombia’s third-largest bank, fell 0.8 percent to 20,040 pesos.
The bank said it sold about 716 billion pesos ($375 million) worth of shares in an offering that ended Nov. 10, according to preliminary results released in a regulatory filing today.
Davivienda President Efrain Forero said Oct. 19 the company sought to sell as much as 800 billion pesos worth of shares as it seeks to expand in Latin America.
Empresa de Energia de Bogota SA (EEB) , Colombia’s second-biggest electricity transporter, rose 0.8 percent to 1,215 pesos.
The company said third-quarter earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization increased 16 percent from a year ago, according to a regulatory filing.
The company said net income fell from a year ago without providing further data.
Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. (PREC) , the Toronto-based oil producer that operates fields in Colombia, rose 4.7 percent, the most in a week, to 40,000 pesos.
Oil gained, capping the longest streak of weekly advances since April 2009, on speculation that U.S. economic growth and Europe’s efforts to contain the debt crisis will boost fuel demand.
