The consumer price index rose 0.14% in Colombia last July, which builds up 2.67% so far in 2011, said Friday the state Department of Statistics and Informatics.
The items that recorded higher increases in prices in July were the food (0.31%), health (0.30%) and housing (0.28%).
For the period of August 2.010 to July 2.011, inflation was 3.42%.
The Central Bank expected to hike prices in 2.011 will be between 2% and 4%.
In 2010, inflation reached 3.17%.
