Former Colombian President Alvaro Uribe has endorsed Enrique Peñalosa for mayor of the capital city of Bogotá.
The announcement was made by Uribe and Peñalosa yesterday after a three-hour meeting,
Peñalosa, who served as mayor of Bogotá from 1998 to 2001, is the Green Party candidate; Uribe is a member of the La U party.
