Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) extended its contextual AdSense for mobile content service to 15 new countries, enabling publishers to generate revenues from their mobile webpages via targeted ads.
The new markets include the following: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Nigeria, Philippines, Slovenia, Thailand, and Turkey.
Google AdSense matches promotions to the content of each mobile site to increase user relevance.

For mobile websites, the solution also detects the type of device viewing the site and delivers ads to match.
In late 2010, about six months after completing its $750 million acquisition of mobile advertising network AdMob, Google integrated the service with AdSense, enabling eligible iPhone and Android application developers to show AdSense promotions when AdMob inventory is unavailable.
