Colombia and Brazil are united against mobile phone theft

Give Colombia a new step in his crusade to combat the theft of cell phones in the region, with the agreement signed with the Brazilian government.

The agreement was sign by the Minister of Information Technologies and Communications, Diego Molano Vega and similar in Brazil, Paulo Bernardo.

The minister Molano Vega explained that the convention will be the third country after the signing of agreements with Ecuador and Mexico, which makes Colombia the leader of that crusade.

He said the agreement signed with Mexico will enter into full operation within two months, while in the coming days to finalize the technical adjustments Ecuador, the definition of communication protocols.

"The goal is that a cell phone stolen in Colombia can not be activated anywhere," he said.

Molano Vega said that "we have advanced with Ecuador and Mexico, today we'll Brazil.
