Colombia finmin wants cenbank to keep buying $700 mln monthly

Colombian Finance Minister Mauricio Cárdenas told the media that he would recommend to the central bank that the monetary authority keeping buying $700 million monthly to ease pressures on the peso currency.

The bank announced at its last policy meeting at the end of august that it would buy at least $700 million through September.

The bank's board meets again on Sept. 28.
