Colombian Stocks : Corp. Financiera Colombiana, Petrominerales

The following companies had unusual price changes in Bogotá trading.

Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 4 p.m. New York time.

The IGBC Index fell 0.8 percent to 13,413.45, while the Colcap Index dropped 0.8 percent to 1,631.87.

Corp. Financiera Colombiana SA (CORFICOL CB), the financial-services and holding company with investments in the construction industry, rose 1.1 percent to 35,400 pesos.

Empresas Copec SA, Chile's largest forestry company, agreed to buy a 7.85 percent stake in Sociedad de Inversiones en Energia SA from Corficolombiana, as the company is known, at 12,700 pesos each for a total of 184 billion pesos ($102 million).

Petrominerales Ltd. (PMGC CB), a Calgary-based oil company with production and exploration in Colombia, fell 4.2 percent to 55,200 pesos.

The company, government officials and local residents will hold a meeting Sept. 13 aimed at ending a protest that cut the company's Colombian oil production.
