Falabella Bank began operations in Colombia

The bank will focus on the individuals segment, providing current accounts, savings accounts, consumer credit card, CMR, CMR card Mastercard, among other products.

Falabella Bank began operations in Colombia, after two months of trial run, after the Financial Supervisory Authority in May of that country provided the banking license that allowed operation of the institution, said through a statement.

Falabella Bank is the first Chilean bank to get to Colombia.  

Begins to operate in the cities of Bogotá, Medellin, Cali, Pereira, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Bucaramanga, Ibagué, Cúcuta and Villavicencio, a total of 33 branches located in Sodimac stores, Falabella and two branches start to operate in the streets of Bogotá .

As in Chile, the bank will focus on the individuals segment, providing current accounts, savings accounts, consumer credit card, CMR, CMR card Mastercard, among other products.

Banco Falabella, mainly by CMR, at 840 thousand customers in Colombia to date and placements in the first quarter amounted to U.S. $ 300 million.

"In Colombia, Banco Falabella will be guided by the same concepts as the bank has in Chile: simplicity, convenience and transparency," Bottazzini Gaston, manager of retail financial Falabella.
