Extending the time preferences between Colombia and Venezuela

Economic associations in the region, considered appropriate by the Venezuelan government's decision to extend for 90 days tariff preferences for trade between Colombia and Venezuela.

Táchira Fedecámaras President José Rozo said decree, Venezuela 90 day extension of the Andean trade agreements, this means that products imported from Colombia and Venezuela are free from import tax.

Without the treaty of the Andean Community, the products would pay between 5 and 20 percent tax.

This agreement allows for a flow of trade between the two countries, because the products are free of tariffs, although Norte de Santander does not benefit directly to the poor state of roads that prevent the normal passage of vehicles.
