Colombia enjoys victory against Senegal

Colombia enjoyed a comfortable win over a lacklustre Senegal side in their final game before departing for the Copa America.

Abel Aguilar seized on an error by visiting keeper Khadim N'Diaye to slot in a 17th-minute opener and Jackson Martinez headed in Camilo Zuniga's cross to double the lead before half-time.

Senegal defender Ass Mandaw Sy was dismissed early in the second half for a professional foul on Martinez and Colombia had a host of chances to extend their lead further, but N'Diaye gained a measure of redemption with a string of good saves.
